Spring Has Sprung! Springtime is the hiring season for many industries including landscaping and lawn care, tree services, florists, construction, pest control, spring break service providers such as hotels and airlines, and many others. The Wisconsin New Hire Reporting Center reminds all employers to report their employees who are hired or rehired over the next few months. All newly hired and/or rehired employees must be reported within 20 days of their hire date, whether they are full-time, part-time, or temporary employees. Employers who submit reports electronically are required to submit their reports in two monthly transmissions not more than 12-16 days apart.
Did you know that 74% of all child support is collected through income withholding from employees' paychecks?
Employers play a valuable role in establishing income withholding orders and ensuring child support payments are collected through compliance with New Hire reporting laws. The Wisconsin New Hire Reporting Center would like to thank you for your continued partnership and participation, because without you, our program could not succeed.
Please continue to submit accurate New Hire information in a timely manner, and help us improve the lives of even more children and families throughout the nation!
We welcome any feedback regarding the current program and encourage suggestions regarding ways we can improve our service to you.
